In recent years, emerging data indicates that measures of central blood pressure and arterial stiffness hold prognostic information above and beyond conventional upper arm blood pressure. The focus of this satellite will be on the latest evidence with respect to pathophysiological understanding and potential clinical application of new methods to assess central haemodynamics. The meeting will be held in conjunction with our colleagues from the Pulse of Asia and will comprise an exciting line up of expert national and international speakers. In addition to scientific stimulation, the meeting will include a sight-seeing evening cocktail cruise on Sydney Harbour. The day promises to be a memorable event!
